Voice

Being able to make a satellite phone call requires voice service, which is standard on most networks and service plans.

A Satellite telephone for voice communications allows a First Responder to expedite a disaster recovery. However, there are preferable satellite phone networks that offer hardware configurations that favor certain applications and environments over others some only requiring voice service or others requiring a very portable voice solution.

Inmarsat

Satworx Inmarsat satellite phone service is a broadband solution and many of the portable units offer multi-user voice. The land hardware utilizes BGAN service for voice and marine units utilize FleetBroadband.

FleetBroadband
